Tour overview
This adventure tour starts with an exciting ride through the jungle in a Mercedes-Benz Unimog, 4x4, all-terrain vehicle to Rancho San Felipe, a small Mayan family community where the Nohoch Nah Chich System of cenotes and caves is located (one of the longest underground river systems in the world). Participate in an unforgettable snorkeling adventure in the fresh water of these underground rivers, swimming deep inside its caves to observe spectacular stalactite and stalagmite formations above and below crystal clear water.
Tour itinerary
- Pick-up for Rancho San Felipe between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
- Arrival and boarding at the Unimog base, 9:15 a.m.
- Tour the jungle mangroves, 9:30 a.m.
- Arrival at Rancho San Felipe and snorkeling, 9:45 a.m.
- Unimog ride through the deep jungle, 10:30 a.m.
- Arrival at cenote Yax Mul for snorkeling and then relaxing in hammocks, 10:45 a.m.
- Lunch at the Mayan ranch, 12:00 p.m.
- Return to the hotel between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
