▶ Is the Yucatán Peninsula safe?
Yes, absolutely. There is very little crime in the Yucatán Peninsula and the local people are extremely friendly. Tourists are urged to simply use common sense as they would in their own hometowns.

There are many restaurants in the immediate area to suit all tastes and price ranges, from U.S. chains like Outback, Chilis and McDonald’s to fun local spots like Surfin’ Burritos, Pescaditos and Habaneros There are also exclusive restaurants like Puerto Madero and Lorenzillos.
▶ Where can I buy souvenirs in Cancun or the Mayan Riviera?
In Cancun: Market 28 downtown or Plaza la Fiesta and Coral Negro Market in the Hotel Zone.
Riviera Maya: There are many places to buy souvenirs in Playa del Carmen on 5th Avenue (la Quinta Avenida).
Most hotels and resorts also have a gift shop.
▶ Will my electrical equipment/appliances work in Mexico?
European visitors will need to bring adapters as they use 220 volts compared to the 110 volts used in Mexico. Visitors from the U.S. will not need adapters.

The hotel zone buses cost 8.50 pesos per person.
When catching a taxi, it is advisable for you to check with the hotel for rates first. Most taxi drivers will abide by the set rate but you can negotiate with them.
Customers staying at our resorts can rent a car through our hotels with a valid driver’s license.

Yes, round-trip airport transportation is included. Please provide us with the proper documentation before arrival. The hotel is only 20 minutes away from the airport.
Free transportation is also available between all of our hotels in Cancun with shuttle buses running every 15 – 20 minutes.
▶ What should I do if I will arrive late?
